- HFC Reductions Intact: Climate Bill Rollout on Wednesday

It has been announced that the current version of the Senate Climate and Energy bill will be unveiled tomorrow.
It is predicted that the bill will contain sections similar to earlier versions of congressional legislation which would reduce production allowances of all hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) to 15% of their 2005 levels by 2032, in steps of between 2 - 5% reduction per year. Among the HFCs are the clean agent fire suppressants FM-200 and FE-36.
